Roles and Responsibilities
This role provides strategic creative leadership to the design team, ensuring high- quality visual execution aligned with brand strategy, business objectives and healthcare industry standards. The Team Lead is responsible for driving creative excellence, developing talent, optimizing workflows and delivering impactful visual solutions across all channels.
Creative Direction & Visual Strategy
Define and drive the overall creative vision and visual strategy aligned with brand positioning, annual marketing objectives and business growth.
Ensure all designs comply with brand identity, regulatory requirements (healthcare) and quality standards.
Develop and manage Thematic & Product Key Visuals (KV) following BI guidelines and annual Marketing Plan.
Translate marketing strategy, product strategy and consumer insights into strong visual concepts and creative guidelines.
Lead concept development for major campaigns, product launches, seasonal activations and brand initiatives.
Oversee creative production across all MKT channels (O2O): social media, e- commerce, website, POSM, print, digital ads, activation and events.
Review, approve and elevate all creative outputs to ensure consistency, innovation and high visual standards.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
Identify skill gaps and propose training, coaching or recruitment needs.
Lead, mentor and develop the graphic design team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability and continuous improvement.
Allocate resources, assign tasks and balance workloads to maximize team productivity and quality.
Encourage innovation, experimentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
Establish clear creative standards, templates, workflows and quality benchmarks.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback and support individual development plans.
Project Management & Delivery Excellence
Translate business briefs into clear creative briefs and actionable execution plans.
Monitor project KPIs such as turnaround time, rework rate, campaign effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction.
Ensure on- time delivery while maintaining high creative quality and brand consistency.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Continuously improve creative processes, approval workflows and collaboration efficiency.
Own project planning, prioritization, timeline control and risk management for all creative projects.
Cross- Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Contribute proactive ideas to improve campaign performance and brand impact.
Act as the key creative consultant to internal stakeholders.
Partner closely with Marketing, Digital, E- commerce, Product, Trade Marketing and Sales teams to align creative execution with business objectives.
Gather feedback, manage expectations and resolve creative conflicts effectively.
Present creative concepts, rationales and recommendations to management.
Brand Governance & System Development
Own brand consistency across all touchpoints and platforms (O2O).
Develop, maintain and update brand guideline systems, templates, visual libraries and asset management processes.
Lead brand merchandising and brand application development.
Ensure correct usage of logo, typography, colors, imagery and tone of visual communication across all materials.
Innovation, Technology & Trend Leadership
Drive experimentation and continuous optimization of creative performance.
Stay updated on design trends, digital platforms, AI tools, motion design, UX/UI and emerging technologies.
Evaluate and recommend new tools, software, workflows or automation solutions to enhance productivity and creativity.
Photo, Video & Production Oversight
Provide creative direction for photo shoots, video production and content creation.
Review and approve shooting concepts, mood boards, scripts and storyboards.
Coordinate with vendors, studios and production partners when required.
Ensure output quality meets brand and campaign standards.
Agency & Vendor Management
Co- lead and manage external agencies, freelancers and production partners.
Provide clear creative briefs, feedback, style guides and performance expectations.
Evaluate agency performance, cost efficiency and creative quality.
🎓 Education and Experience Requirements
Experience managing multiple stakeholders, timelines and creative resources.
Experience working in healthcare, FMCG, beauty, wellness or regulated industries is a plus.
Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts or related fields.
Minimum 5–7 years of professional graphic design experience, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership / senior role.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, motion design, video editing, social content, UX/UI; 3D is a strong advantage.
