As the Graphic Designer Lead at ASUS, you will play a crucial role in leading the development of the brand&039;s visual identity in the local market. This role requires creative direction, cultural sensitivity, and design thinking, combining the knowledge of global design trends with local relevance. You will lead a team of 2 designers to ensure every design output maintains a consistent, premium, brand image working at the creative strategy, brand positioning and visual execution level. You will work with cross- functional teams to create compelling marketing artworks and uphold brand consistency for the ASUS Systems Business Unit (Consumer, Gaming & Commercial laptops & desktops).

What are you expected to do?
Strategic Brand Identity Development (20%)
• Develop a consistent design language and establish creative guidelines to ensure a unified brand experience across all platforms and touchpoints
• Create a localized creative vision that aligns with global brand positioning and fits the local culture and consumer preferences
Team management & development (30%)
• Lead and manage a team of 2 graphic designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
• Oversee and streamline the working flow of graphic design team
• Review and approve final designs, ensuring they meet brand guidelines and project specifications.
• Implement and ensure graphic teams follow company & brand design guidelines, standards, and processes to maintain consistency across all visual materials.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new design techniques, and tools to continuously enhance the quality and efficiency of the graphics team.
Artwork Creation and Image Enhancement (30%)
• Enhance existing images to meet quality standards and brand guidelines
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience.
• Create and design visually appealing graphics, including catalogs, brochures, POSM, advertisements, e- DMs, social media posts and digital creatives
Collaboration and Project Management (10%)
• Work closely with the Marketing team to understand project requirements, produce final designs and ensure consistency in branding across various media
• Liaise with external suppliers and agencies to ensure timely delivery of materials at the highest quality
Brand identity & creative Leadership (10%)
• Serve as the brand&039;s creative guardian during major launches, PR events, and public content.
• Ensure visual consistency across omni- channel campaigns for a unified and premium user experience from awareness to conversion
• Lead art direction across all brand touchpoints — including product photography, video content, livestreams, in- store displays and activations
We would be thrilled if you own the following qualities
• Strong understanding of branding, design principles, typography, color theory and layout composition.
• Good understanding of marketing and branding principles to ensure designs align with business objectives.
• Perfect attention to detail and high ownership sense on quality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross- functional teams and stakeholders.
• Good command of English – Communication with HQ & expatriates will be required
• Knowledge of current design trends and best practices in the industry with solid understanding of digital and social media platforms and their visual requirements.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines within a fast- paced retail environment
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effect, Premiere Pro, InDesign)
• Bachelor&039;s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
• At least 5 year experience as Graphic Designer roles in Advertisement/Marketing agencies or Technology/CE companies, preferably in a managerial or leadership position.
• Knowledge of printing processes and different type of materials to ensure optimal print quality
• Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and provide constructive feedback to designers to enhance their skills and performance.
