GPBankApplication Operator/System Operator

JOB PURPOSE (Common for both positions)

Ensure the stable, secure, and efficient operation of the Bank’s IT application systems, including deployment, monitoring, incident handling, and performance optimization. Act as the technical bridge between development, infrastructure, and operations to support business continuity, improve service quality, and enhance end- user experience.

Experience: 3–5 years in application operations/IT support (banking or enterprise).
Domain: Core Banking, Cards, Lending, or Payment (Citad, VCB Money, VTB, SWIFT).
Technical

Apache Tomcat or similar servers.
OS & DB admin: RedHat, Linux, Windows, MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle.
Docker & Kubernetes (AWS EKS is a plus).

Focus
: Deployment, L2 support, troubleshooting, monitoring, backup, training L1.

2. Senior IT Operation (Bank Digitalization Solutions)

Experience: 5+ years in large- scale, high- availability banking systems (Internet/Mobile Banking, e- Wallet, Digital Onboarding, CRM, BPM, etc.).
Technical

Apache, Nginx, IIS administration.
Enterprise apps with 24/7 uptime.
Messaging queues: Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ.
OpenShift or similar orchestration.
Cloud deployment (AWS or equivalent).
API management (WSO2, IBM API Connect, etc.).
Relational & NoSQL DBs (MongoDB).

Focus: Ensure stable/secure digital platforms, optimize performance, manage budget/resources, support projects, lead team.
Additional: Ops management, automation scripting, apply AI tools.

COMMON REQUIREMENTS (for both positions)

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.

Experience

Proven experience in IT application operations and support, preferably in the finance/banking sector.

Knowledge & Technical Skills

Solid understanding of deployment architecture including High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Load Balancing.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices (Jenkins, Git, GitLab CI, Maven, Gradle, etc.).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Logstash).
Hands- on experience with relational databases (MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle).
Proficiency in Linux/Unix/Windows operating systems.

Soft Skills

Good command of English (reading and writing mandatory; speaking and listening preferred).
Communication, problem- solving, and self- development mindset.
Strong teamwork, attention to detail, logical thinking.

Working Time & Location

Location: 45 Nguyễn Văn Huyên, Cầu Giấy, Hà Nội
Work schedule: Monday – Friday, plus two Saturday mornings per month.
