Global Accounting Manager

Other finance operational admin works assigned by Global Head of Finance.
Design, implement, and continuously improve month- end closing processes and other accounting procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control.
Conduct weekly reconciliations across cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, intercompany transactions and balances to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Review vendor contracts and oversee contract administration and invoicing processes to ensure compliance and optimize terms.
Develop and maintain an Accounting Manual; deliver training to accounting staff to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
Prepare monthly management reports for senior leadership, highlighting key financial and operational insights, variances, and drivers.
Lead and oversee the accounting function for all group companies (Vietnam, Thailand, Romania, India, UAE, US, and other entities) to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and group policies.
Support the Head of Finance (HOF) in building and implementing the group’s accounting system, processes, and software tools, including system enhancements and integrations.
Prepare monthly consolidation group reports, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations, currency translations, and alignment with group reporting timelines.
Ensure strong internal controls over financial reporting and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives across the group.
Manage payment planning and cash top- up planning on a periodic basis, coordinating with internal stakeholders to prepare payment plans and cash top- up forecasts.
Collaborate with local accounting teams in each country on periodic reporting, tax filings (VAT, WHT, CIT, etc.), and statutory compliance requirements.

Proven experience managing cross- country accounting teams and coordinating with local finance teams.
Excellent analytical, problem- solving, and communication skills; ability to present complex financial information clearly to non- financial stakeholders.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Experience with tax compliance (VAT, WHT, CIT) across multiple jurisdictions; familiarity with local statutory requirements is desirable.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a multicultural environment.
Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and multinational consolidation concepts; experience with group consolidation software is a plus.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a multinational/ Group environment and/or shared services centers.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement month- end close processes, internal controls, and accounting policies.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong ERP and financial reporting system experience; proficiency with MS Excel and data analytics.
