- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership qualities to guide and motivate risk management teams, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey risk information to stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software and tools for risk management, such as MS Office and risk management software.
- Problem- Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex risk- related issues.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and develop effective solutions.
- Risk Management Expertise: In- depth knowledge of risk assessment, mitigation, and control processes.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a senior management capacity in a similar role, and in a similar sized organization.
- Strong understanding of credit risk principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing business conditions and regulatory landscapes.
- Experience in project management and/or leading change initiatives is also valuable.
