Responsibilities
Founded in 2016, Glohow is a global game service and publishing company headquartered in Singapore, operating as a subsidiary of Kakao Games in 2020, with regional offices in Thailand, Taiwan, Korea and Vietnam (since 2018).
As our team expands, we are looking for a passionate Game Developer with 3- 5 years of experience in mobile game development to join our team. You will be a key contributor to our new game project, responsible for implementing engaging gameplay mechanics, optimizing game performance, and collaborating with cross- functional teams to deliver high- quality gaming experiences.If you are passionate about game development and eager to push technical boundaries, we’d love to hear from you!
We have successfully published and serviced multiple games across Asia, with standout titles such as Guardian Tales, which achieved top rankings in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia; Odin: Valhalla Rising, which surpassed 1 million new users within 30 days of its Taiwan launch, reaching 1 on both iOS and Google Play and later winning the Grand Prize and Best Graphics at the 2021 Korea Game Awards.

Work closely with the Team Lead to translate design specifications and architectural plans into functional, high- quality code.
Optimize game performance to ensure smooth gameplay across various mobile devices and platforms.
Design and integrate UI elements such as menus, HUDs, and interactive components for an intuitive player experience.
Identify, debug, and resolve client- side issues to maintain stability and enhance user experience.
Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and other developers to seamlessly integrate client- side features with the overall game system.
Develop and implement gameplay features, mechanics, and client- side systems using Unity and C.

Experience working on mobile game development projects, either in production or as a personal project.
Full professional or native- level proficiency in English (written and spoken).
3- 5 years of professional experience in Unity (2D/3D) development.
Strong C programming skills with a solid understanding of object- oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience contributing to a team that has successfully released or launched a game.
Hands- on experience with performance optimization and integrating third- party SDKs (e.g., Firebase, advertising SDKs).
A deep passion for casual and idle games, combined with a proactive, problem- solving attitude.
Familiarity with post- launch live operations, including implementing new content updates and resolving issues in a live service environment.
