Quality Leadership in Product Development
Develop and design Product & Process Control Plans (P/PCP) along with the required documentation to ensure quality assurance.
Lead quality- related activities throughout the product development process for assigned customer portfolios.
Evaluate customer quality and compliance requirements, identifying gaps between customer expectations and internal company standards.
Facilitate Design and Process Risk Analysis (FMEA), define mitigation actions, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for implementation.
Material & Tooling Quality Control
Review and validate the quality of incoming material and component samples.
Review and validate the quality of jigs, templates, molds, and other quality control tools used in production.
Product Inspection & Testing
Review and confirm the quality of product prototypes.
Coordinate with the internal testing team to define suitable tests for materials, components, and prototypes, ensuring tests are completed on schedule.
Ensure all required testing and documentation for market compliance are completed on time, including third- party lab testing when necessary.
System & Documentation Management
Maintain detailed records of inspections, testing, corrective and preventive actions for subcontractors (if applicable).
Ensure the Quality Technical Pack is consistently updated and reflects the latest technical specifications.
Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
Ensure all newly identified risks or defects are thoroughly resolved in both previous and upcoming product versions.
Propose and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for subcontractors and the internal QC team.
Monitor products throughout their lifecycle and provide support in case of production or customer- reported issues.
Implement the Product and Process Control Plan (P/PCP) to ensure adherence to processes and compliance with updated quality requirements.
Update risk analysis for future product developments based on past issues.
Proactively help eliminate product rejections by issuing quality alerts, identifying quality issues, and promptly isolating defective products.
