Functional Consultant / Business Analyst - Remote Working

Overview:
A technology consulting company specializing in Odoo ERP solutions is seeking a Functional Consultant to deliver end- to- end ERP implementations for clients in industries such as wholesale, import/export, distribution, manufacturing, and eCommerce.
The role focuses on analyzing business processes, designing solutions, and implementing Odoo ERP systems across the full project lifecycle — from discovery and solution design to deployment and post- go- live support.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop functional and technical documentation such as integration specs, test cases, and user manuals
Collaborate closely with developers, technical leads, and client stakeholders (including SMEs)
Manage assigned project workstreams, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality standards
Configure and customize Odoo modules (Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, Accounting, eCommerce) based on client requirements, following a “native- first” approach
Plan and execute data migration from legacy systems, including validation and reconciliation
Troubleshoot system issues in both staging and production environments
Lead discovery workshops and document AS- IS / TO- BE processes, including fit- gap analysis and solution design
Deliver user training sessions and create role- based training materials and operational guides

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM, including a 30- minute break.
Requirements:

Experience with data migration, system integration (API, SFTP, EDI), or accounting/inventory processes is a plus
Excellent analytical thinking and structured problem- solving skills
Strong ability to work directly with stakeholders at all levels (from operational staff to management)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related fields
Proficient in English communication (both written and verbal), especially in client- facing contexts
Minimum 2 years of experience in ERP implementation or similar roles (Odoo experience is highly preferred)
