As a Front Office Manager, you will oversee daily front office operations, ensure excellent guest experiences, and lead a team dedicated to delivering the warmth and professionalism that define The Secret Côn Đảo.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in management meetings, contribute to strategy development, and recommend improvements in operations, methods, and staffing.
Conduct training sessions, performance appraisals, and participate in staff recruitment.
Manage room allocation efficiently and supervise guest check- in/check- out processes.
Prepare departmental budgets, reports, statistics, and credit control on a daily basis.
Ensure prompt, courteous, and accurate service to all guests.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and returning guests.
Ensure proper record- keeping of guest histories and use data effectively to enhance personalized service.
Guarantee guest privacy, safety, and security at all times.
Maintain accurate room records and ensure proper payment collection in compliance with hotel policies and legal requirements (e.g., guest registration with local authorities).
Supervise and motivate the Front Office team, ensuring adherence to hotel policies, grooming, and hygiene standards.
Follow up on maintenance issues to ensure timely resolution.
Monitor and control group and individual reservations to maximize occupancy, in coordination with the Sales Department.
Undertake any additional tasks assigned by senior management.
Support sales initiatives, including regular sales calls, to promote hotel business.
Work closely with Housekeeping to ensure room readiness and resolve guest complaints.
Prepare duty rosters, monitor staff performance, and maintain high service standards.
Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless service and maximize guest satisfaction.
Safeguard guest belongings in rooms, luggage storage, and lockers.
