Footwear Product Developer/ Manager

Job description
The Footwear Developer will play a critical role in the development and execution of footwear designs for clients. You will work closely with external clients, design teams, and manufacturing units to ensure that footwear products are developed to meet the required design specifications, quality standards, cost parameters, and delivery timelines. This role requires strong technical expertise in footwear construction and a deep understanding of third- party manufacturing processes.
• Carrying over tech pack from development to production – coordinating with the factories all details and expectation for successful production.
• Responsible on commercialization process – Confirmation samples, grading to full size, production trail
• Be part of the individual project creation team converting a project brief into a sample that meets the needs of the team and the consumer that can be successfully and profitably commercialized and produced.
• Timeline management – from proto to SMS and production trail – you need to follow up the brand’s targets and millstone and make sure they are been achieved
• Reporting to management and to your brand the status of your developments and sampling by details.
• Assisting the company’s technician in all development stages – in communication, translation, follow- up and activity making sure the work is been done correctly
• Coordinating with the team the preparation of materials for development and sampling
• Writing and updating development specification sheets and preparing production specification sheets
• Responsible on all aspects of development of a footwear collection – from prototyping to line review and SMS (sales man’s samples)
• Receiving and processing tech packs, and SRF (sample request form) and coordinating with factories to execute on time
• Provide project and process management within Footwear Product Development
