 Establishes and maintains strong relationships with the established clientele and constantly explores new business opportunities.
 Develops and reviews Personal Business Plan which is linked to the Hotel’s Annual Business Plan.
 Establishes an efficient trace file to ensure that all business booked is properly tracked.
 Continuously seeks ways to maximize revenues and profits by cross- selling and upselling other facilities and services.
 Provides accurate reporting of business booked to the Sales Coordinator for monthly consolidation.
 Achieves the monthly and annual personal target contributing to the Events revenue.
 Maintains complete and supported records of all Events Agreements, Contracts and Quotations for the Hotel.
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with Hyatt International&039;s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Events Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient of the Events department, covering both the catering sales as well as convention services functions of the hotel.
 Ensures that an efficient and accurate filing system, both manuals as well as electronic, is maintained at all times.
 Prepares and ensures all Events Orders are distributed to the concerned department in a timely manner.
 Submits Sales reports to the Assistant Director of Catering in a timely manner.

- Minimum 2 years of work experience as Director of Catering or Convention Services in a large operation.
- Good operational, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
