Team Leadership & People Management:
Lead an engineering team of 5+ developers through regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and career development planning. Foster growth, collaboration, and high performance through effective mentorship and coaching.
Sprint & Agile Management:
Manage sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. Remove blockers, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure smooth execution of development cycles.
OKR Setting & Tracking:
Set team OKRs aligned with company goals, track progress, and adjust priorities as needed. Conduct regular check- ins to ensure team stays on track with objectives.
Delivery & Quality Excellence:
Drive team delivery rates while maintaining high code quality standards. Facilitate code reviews and best practices implementation across the team.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
Provide regular progress reports and OKR updates to leadership. Track and communicate team metrics, delivery performance, and key initiatives.
Cross- functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product designers, other engineering teams, and QA to deliver high- quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
Experience & Technical Skills: 5+ years of hands- on development experience in one of the following areas: Backend (Ruby on Rails, Node.js or Spring), Mobile (native iOS or Android), or Front End (React, Angular, or Vue). Minimum 1 year of experience leading engineering teams of 5+ members. Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and code quality standards.
Leadership & Communication:
Proven ability to lead engineering teams effectively. Strong communication skills for cross- functional collaboration and stakeholder management. Experience managing remote teams is a plus.
Agile & Process Management:
Experience with OKR setting, sprint planning, and agile methodologies. Track record of improving team delivery and code quality metrics.
