Job description
3D Modeling & BIM
• Create accurate 3D models of electrical systems (HT, BT, conduits, wiring, lighting, fire alarm systems, and equipment) using BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or equivalent.
• Develop models up to LOD 500 for fabrication, installation, and as- built purposes.
• Detect conflicts, perform quantity take- offs, and update drawings/models as required.
Electrical & Fire System Design
• Plan, calculate, and prepare blueprints for electrical and fire safety systems.
• Complete detailed design of electrical and fire safety systems, including preliminary design calculations, sketches, wiring diagrams, and electrical diagrams.
• Prepare design specifications, technical sheets, design calculations, quantitative schedules, and technical evaluations.
• Select commercially available equipment tailored to project/customer needs, ensuring compliance with safety codes.
Coordination
• Assist the design team in solving complex issues during design and construction phases.
• Work with other disciplines (architectural, structural, CVC, plumbing, and other MEP trades) to resolve clashes and finalize integrated MEP plans.
• Keep the project manager informed of any changes or updates.
Drawing Production & Documentation
• Produce detailed electrical drawings and shop drawings derived from BIM models.
• Support preparation of documentation and specifications for tenders, when necessary.
• Prepare DOE plans, reflecting installation conditions and updating when required.
Data & Compliance
• Incorporate and maintain accurate equipment and installation data in as- built models.
• Provide technical advice to clients regarding electrical systems and project requirements.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and ensure timely delivery of design outputs.
• Follow industry standards, project- specific BIM workflows, and all applicable codes.
Job requirements
• Proficient in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Dialux, Navisworks, Pack of Offices.
• Preference will be given to 3 to 5 year of experience candidates
• Graduated from universities specialized in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge electrical design and installation applied to buildings (Design office or Contracting company experience is a plus for this position)
• Proficient skills in English;
