Domestic Distribution operarations

General Description
The primary responsibility is to ensure that we are providing the best- in- class service to the customer. The candidate is expected to work with internal and external customers to contribute to establish and agree on SOP for transportation services and service level agreement. The candidate is expected to well manage daily task to achieve and maintain the committed KPI. The candidate has to coordinate internal team to ensure high- performance and excellent quality service is being delivered to the customer, and to manage the subcontractors to ensure that the service level given is aligned with the expectations of our customers.
The purpose of this position is to be responsible for domestic transportation. This candidate must have good communication and client management skills in order to maintain positive client relations. This candidate must be a self- starter, who is able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
The secondary responsibility is to support the Leader/Manager to suggest fresh ideas to lower cost, increase margin and improve the service level. The candidate is expected to keep in touch with market trends and adapt new technologies to disrupt the current market
Specific Accountabilities
Operations

Support other task from Leader/Manager.
Ensure that billing is completed accurately and timely and P&L is managed accurately
Ensure that system/TMS operation is done correctly and timely
Guide and support all functions for all related transportation matter.
Follow the instruction of team leader and manager all time.
Ensure that internal report is completed accurately and timely
Work with supplier to ensure that the KPIs are being achieved and improve supplier services.
Work and keep closely contact with customers to set good relationship & get their support in every operation.
Execute transportation operations in accordance to the SOP and stipulated KPIs, focus mainly on transportation for shipment via Air mode
Contribute to defining and optimizing productivity and efficiency parameters and workflow processes.
Escalate to direct Team leader and manager (if any) for any problem and issues.

Skills Required

Excel, word computer skills.
Good English communication skills (listening,speaking, reading, writing).
Communication skill, collaboration with stakeholders.
Team player with a good working attitude and the ability to learn quickly, being diligent, careful and meticulous

Experience and Qualifications

3 years land transportation- related operations
University degree in Logistics operation/Logistics engineering
Experience in transport management systems implementation especially BluJay LSP TMS a big plus.
