Digital Marketing Intern (Content & Social Media)

Position Overview

We are looking for a creative, empathetic, and detail- oriented Digital Marketing Intern to manage and elevate our digital presence. In this role, you will be the voice of our counseling practice across multiple digital touchpoints. Your primary focus will be creating engaging, informative, and ethical content that de- stigmatizes mental health and connects individuals with the support they need.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation: Draft compelling copy, articles, and scripts. Design basic visual assets (using tools like Canva) and edit short- form videos tailored to the unique algorithms and audiences of each platform
Social Media Management: Plan, schedule, and publish high- quality content across all corporate social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and our official Website
Website Maintenance: Assist in uploading SEO- friendly blog posts, updating landing pages, and ensuring website content is accurate and up to dat
Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth) and assist in compiling simple weekly/monthly marketing reports to optimize future campaigns
Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a compassionate and timely manner, maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Basic graphic design (Canva/Photoshop) and video editing (CapCut/Premiere) skills are highly preferred
Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A deep understanding of (or strong interest in) mental health topics. Ability to communicate sensitive issues with care, respect, and absolute confidentiality
Prior experience in managing social media channels or generating content (e.g., personal blogs, student clubs, or past internships) is a distinct advantage
Strong familiarity with the operations and trends of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and content management systems (like WordPress)
