DevOps Lead

System Architecture:

Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Design and implement scalable, reliable, and high- performance infrastructure on AWS, local cloud or another public cloud like GCP, Azure is plus
Optimize system architecture to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.

Security:

Develop and maintain incident response plans and participate in security incident investigations.
Implement and manage security best practices across AWS environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security and the same with another cloud platform.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, addressing any identified issues promptly.

CI/CD Automation:

Automate build, test, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Monitor and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable delivery of software updates.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD practices into their workflows.
Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

Educational Background:

Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

In- depth understanding of security best practices and tools, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar.
Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM and the same with another cloud platform.

Experience:

Proven track record of designing and managing scalable, secure, and efficient AWS infrastructure.
Cost monitor and optimization.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or system engineering role, with a focus on AWS.
Experience in automating CI/CD pipelines and integrating them with development workflows.
Experience in conducting security audits and implementing security best practices.

Knowledge:

Understanding of agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
Strong knowledge of network architecture and security principles.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Comprehensive understanding of AWS architecture, services, and best practices and another cloud platform.

Requirements:

Passion for continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry developments.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment.
Strong problem- solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Considerations:

Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP, local cloud platform) is a plus.
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are highly desirable.
