Your mission: lead our shift from Linode to AWS, set up GitOps CI/CD, and help us scale securely and cost- effectively.

🔧 Your Toolbox

Terraform- managed infrastructure
Secrets Manager, IAM, ECR, S3
Cost- optimised scaling with Karpenter or ASG
AWS ECS (Fargate), ALB, Route 53, VPC, WAF

Docker containers with branch previews
GitLab pipelines + Git- based environments
AWS CodeDeploy for zero- downtime releases

📊 Observability & Performance

Grafana dashboards, Prometheus metrics
DORA metrics for team insights

🔒 Security & Compliance

Vulnerability scans, audit logging
SOC- 2 aligned: access control, secrets rotation

Design and maintain GitOps- style CI/CD pipelines
Create clean docs
Implement SOC- 2 aligned security practices
Define infra patterns that boost dev productivity
Lead migration from on- prem to scalable AWS infra
Set up monitoring and error tracking that just works

✅ Requirements

Experience with GitOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
Strong experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM)
Very good written English for documentation
SOC- 2 or similar compliance knowledge and implementation
Proficient in Docker containerization and ECS orchestration
Experience with infrastructure migration projects
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Sentry, CloudWatch)
3+ years or more in DevOps/SRE roles supporting production systems

Bonus:

Security tooling and vulnerability management
Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise
Cost optimization and FinOps practices
DORA metrics implementation and team productivity optimization
Experience in Python or TypeScript is big plus
