Database Developer (SQL)

Perform unit testing and basic debugging independently.
Maintain and refactor legacy SQL code for improved performance or readability.
Participate in internal code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Develop moderately complex SQL procedures and database functions.
Handle change requests (SRs) with limited supervision.

Experience in data modeling, database architecture, or CI/CD for database deployment is an advantage for Senior candidates
Experience with performance tuning and database optimization (Senior level expected to handle complex cases)
Hands- on experience writing and optimizing SQL (T- SQL / PL/SQL)
Strong knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or similar platform
2+ years of experience in SQL/Oracle and database development
Good understanding of data integrity, normalization, and transaction handling
English: can communicate in daily meetings with onshore team
Experience with reporting or ETL tools (e.g. SSIS, Power BI) is a plus
Good English communication skills for daily work (written and spoken)
Familiar with Git and common Agile development practices
Basic understanding of data warehousing or OLAP concepts is a plus
