Database Administrator (Remote) (SQL)

We provide a wide array of CES solution ranging from Contact Centre Infrastructure, Unified Communications, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions. As our company is expanding, we are looking for motivated and driven individuals to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with development and operations teams to address issues and implement solutions.
Define database schema, tables, indexes, and relationships based on application requirements.
Investigate and resolve database- related issues, including performance problems, errors, and data inconsistencies.
Collaborate with developers and system architects to design and implement efficient and scalable PostgreSQL database solutions.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Manage user access and permissions, ensuring proper authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Provide support and guidance to development teams on database- related matters.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through query optimization, indexing, and other tuning techniques.

Requirements

Proficient in English (speaking and writing).
Excellent problem- solving and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with high- availability, replication, and clustering solutions.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, internals, and features.
Able to carry out tasks with little or no supervision.
Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database performance tuning.
Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator. Minimum 2 years working experience.
Experience in database security management.
