Data Engineer Reporting Analyst SQL/JasperReports

Are you passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful insights? As a Data Engineer / Reporting Analyst, you will be joining our dynamic team responsible for building and maintaining high- impact financial reports using cutting- edge tools. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex SQL queries, JasperReports, and financial systems like Lendscape (Factoring)
You will collaborate with our European professional services team by developing robust reports based on business requirements. Over time, you will also develop business analysis capabilities to independently handle end- to- end reporting projects.

Gather and analyze reporting requirements directly from clients.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries from a Microsoft SQL Server database.
Collaborate with European business analysts to understand reporting requirements.
Use tools like Lucidchart or other ERD tools to understand and map database structures.
Create and manage report templates, layout definitions, and data integration.
Build custom reports based on Lendscape&039;s data structure and business rules
Interpret technical analysis documents and translate them into working reports.
Perform business analysis and create technical documentation.
Act as both Business Analyst and Report Developer.
Design and develop reports using JasperReports (similar to Crystal Reports).

Ability to read and understand ERDs, and use tools like Lucidchart.
Good understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Management Studio.
Proficiency in JasperReports (or Crystal Reports).
Strong experience with SQL (complex queries, optimization).
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

Knowledge of AI tools to assist with creating complex SQL is an advantage.
Experience working with financial data or financial software (especially invoice financing/factoring) is a plus.
