Data Engineer Python, SQL, ETL

Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and scalability.
Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata documentation.
Stay updated on emerging data technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
Implement best practices for data governance, including compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.
Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across all stages of the data lifecycle.
Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to process and transform data from various sources into structured formats.
Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure smooth operation and timely resolution of issues.

Required Skills and Experience

Proficiency with ETL tools commonly used in data engineering (e.g., SSIS).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in building and managing ETL workflows.
Excellent problem- solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
3+ years of experience of programming languages such as Python.
3+ years of experience in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).
Understanding of data warehousing concepts.

Preferred Skills

Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark.
Hands- on experience with ETL environments using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Synapse, Fabric.
