Data Engineer Python/ Big Data/ ETL/ Cloud

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Data Analyst, Data Scientist, and cross- functional teams to ensure seamless data availability, reliability, and performance. Your responsibilities will include building and optimizing ETL and streaming dataflows, enhancing data storage efficiency, and integrating diverse data sources to support advanced analytics, quant trading, machine learning, and business intelligence initiatives. This position reports to the Data & Analytics Manager / Head of Business Technology Solution.

Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards for data handling.
POC and adopting new technologies to improve data platform management in large- scale high throughput and frequency.
Engage in the full lifecycle of data platform development, including building and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes, as well as designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable ETL and streaming processes to support advanced analytics, quant trading, machine learning, and business intelligence.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate data from various sources, including core system and application databases, data warehouses, data APIs and streaming platforms.
Reporting and other tasks relevant to data engineer domain knowledge.
Contribute to building the data platform as a foundation for Quant Trading Platform, including real- time market data ingestion, processing, and management to support scalable and efficient algorithmic trading strategies.
Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance by implementing best practices in data validation and monitoring.

Previous experience in a business or industry- specific setting (e.g. finance, retail, healthcare) is a plus.
Hands- on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Solid technical skills, proficient in programming languages such as Python (or Go, Java, C++)and willing to learn new technologies.
Knowledge of ETL tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.), DevOps and CI/CD for data pipelines.
Precision, passion, open- mindedness, and quick self- learning skills in big data, as well as enthusiasm for solving business problems.
Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Beam, Kafka) and distributed computing.
Strong teamwork skills, honesty, dignity, and responsibility.
3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or similar role.
Bachelor/Master Degree in Applied Mathematics, Quantitative and Computational Finance, Computer Science or equivalent domain.

Working Monday – Friday, 8am:5pm
Full salary during probation
For every 5 work- years, +2 day to annual leave​​
13th- month salary depending on the employee’s length of service
