JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Overview
We are looking for a Strategic Planner with 3+ years of experience in brand and communication strategy at global agencies. The role requires a mix of analytical thinking, cultural sensitivity, and creativity to uncover insights, inspire big ideas, and ensure impactful execution.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Alignment & Evaluation: Oversee execution to ensure creative outputs remain true to strategic intent; measure and evaluate effectiveness for continuous improvement.
Research & Tools: Recommend, design, and apply research methodologies; leverage agency planning tools to map customer journeys, define opportunities, and set KPIs.
Strategy Development: Build brand and communication strategies from inspiration to execution, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
Daily Planning Duties: Manage day- to- day planning activities, supporting both existing accounts and new business pitches.
Briefing & Guidance: Craft inspiring, clear, and persuasive creative briefs; brief and collaborate with creative teams to translate strategy into big ideas.
Cross- team Collaboration: Partner with account, creative, and media teams to guide idea development and ensure integration across channels.
Insight Generation: Research markets, consumers, and competitors; analyze business and cultural trends to uncover actionable insights.
Client Engagement: Represent the voice of the consumer in client discussions; present strategy and research findings with clarity and conviction.
JOB REQUIREMENT
BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Foreign Language, Foreign Trade, Business Administration
Ability to communicate in Japanese is a plus.
Solid research and analytical skills — ability to turn data into compelling insights and frameworks.
3+ years of experience in strategic planning, brand strategy, or related roles at a global or leading local agency.
Collaborative, curious, and resourceful, with a passion for ideas that connect brands and culture.
Strong understanding of branding, communications, and integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills in both English and Vietnamese.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with cultural trends and youth insights in Vietnam.
Experience across diverse industries such as FMCG, tech, lifestyle, or luxury.
Ability to handle multiple accounts with tight timelines while keeping strategic clarity.
