CRES Procurement Lead

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the Bank’s objectives, focusing on cost savings, quality and vendor relationships.• Lead, mentor and manage a high- performing procurement team, fostering a collaborative and results- driven work environment.• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, forecast demand and develop procurement plans to meet organizational requirements.• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and managing contracts to ensure optimal performance.• Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, regulations and ethical standards.• Implement and leverage technology solutions to enhance procurement efficiency and transparency.• Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging trends, cost drivers and opportunities for process improvement.• Prepare and present periodic reports to senior management, detailing procurement performance metrics, cost savings and key strategic initiatives.• Be of assistance to oversee General Admin Services when required.

Qualifications:
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant professional certification is a bonus.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and guide a diverse team.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management and cost savings.
• In- depth knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations and emerging trends.
• Proven experience of 7 years in a leadership role, preferably in the banking, financial services or construction industry.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in utilizing data to drive strategic procurement decisions.
