Construction Manager

Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
Review the work progress on daily basis
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Other tasks as assigned by the company executives
Review the project in- depth to schedule and estimate costs
Meet contractual conditions of performance
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safetyregulations
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion

Excellent time and project management skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a relatedfield.
Proven working experience in construction management
Leadership and human resources management skills
Competent in conflict and crisis management
Familiarity with construction management software packages
Understanding of all facets of the construction process
Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulationsand quality standards
At least 15 years in construction management for large- scale hotel/ resort properties.
