Commercial Director (Vietnamese Only, Based in Da Nang)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue:
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for revenue growth and optimisation.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track revenue performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure that Revenue Leaders are maximising their revenue across all business segments
• Implement pricing strategies and revenue management techniques to optimize yield and profitability.
• Responsible for strategic plans to achieved budgeted room nights in market segments; Direct, Indirect, Corporate, Wholesale, Meeting Group and others
Performance Marketing (Digital Marketing and Campaigns):
• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive online bookings and enhance brand visibility.
• Manage and optimize online advertising campaigns, including search engine marketing (SEM), social media advertising, and display advertising.
• Utilize data analytics to track campaign performance and optimize marketing spend.
• Oversee the development and execution of promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Sales (Corporate, Wholesale, Consortia, Meeting Groups and Events):
• Lead and manage the sales teams responsible for corporate, wholesale, consortia, meeting groups, and events sales.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with corporate clients, wholesale partners, and event planners
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Human Resources:
• Project at all times a courteous, professional, and positive attitude towards colleagues and guests.
• Develop herself/himself to be always a better manager.
• Collaborate with others team members and HOD’s to succeed Property portfolio goals.
• Understands company’s rules, regulations, and basic local Labour Law.
• Have a complete understanding of and adhere to the rules and regulations to fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
Training:
• Participate and complete Hotel Marketing courses on Academy LMS Platform
• Participate actively in Company, Hotel and Commercial training programs and ensure sound knowledge and adherence to the training outcomes is actioned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Qualification
- Strong knowledge in branding and positioning
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, sales and marketing.
- Expert in yield management and channel management
- Bachelor’s degree required
Required skills
- Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales/marketing/hospitality profession.
- Command of the English language both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and property management systems.
- Strong media, presentation and computer skills
- Minimum five years of sales and marketing in the luxury hotel industry
- Other soft skills: analytical, organizational and team working skills, guest and sales oriented
Experiences
- Minimum 5 years working in 4 or 5 star hotel.
- Minimum 3 years working at senior position.
