Commercial Director – Marketing And MT Channel

Job purpose: The Commercial Director with a focus on Marketing and MT (Modern Trade) channel will be responsible for overseeing and managing all commercial activities related to marketing and the MT channel within the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability within the specific focus areas of marketing and the MT channel.
Directly report to: General Director
Tasks in detail:
Conducting competitor and market analysis to identify trends, assess opportunities, and drive product/service improvements.
Leading and motivating the commercial team, providing mentorship and guidance to drive excellence.
Developing and executing commercial strategies that align sales, marketing, and business objectives, with a keen eye on Marketing & MT Channel
Revenue growth and business development to expand the company&039;s market share and reach new customers.
Financial analysis and performance including analyzing sales data, market trends, and financial reports to make data- driven decisions and enhance performance.
Effectively communicating the organisation&039;s value propositions to clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Implementing strategic training programmes and supporting the team&039;s professional growth.
Building and implementing customer satisfaction programmes to enhance client retention and brand loyalty.
Working with profit targets to set pricing strategies, optimise margins, and ensure sustainable profitability.
