Chief Accountant
for Noventiq Vietnam.
Role Summary
As the senior and key finance person in the country who is responsible for overall financial and accounting matters in Vietnam, this role requires good time management skill, good team management skill and self- driven initialization with critical thinking mind- set to challenge status quo. Interpersonal skill is also vital to handle different stakeholders within and outside business. The ability to make things happen positively in the given timeline with sense of urgency would be the key success factors for the role .
What you’ll do:
Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts and actuals according the business needs
Ensure the compliance matter of business operation. Partnering with all outsourced parties in ensuring SLAs are monitored and achieved
Prepare local financial statements; manage the process of documentary in Vietnam.
Collaborates with the business unit director in the planning of the expenses of the country and assist on the monthly sales forecasting process and the P&L view
Review and analyse the budget vs plan and forecast variations in comparison to the actuals on monthly results and present explanation of material variances to local and regional management
Managing budget, plan, forecast and actuals of the country with the business unit
Manage and support team members.
Assisting in the achievement of the annual budget execution by acting as the key finance role in country in association with the business unit director
Ensure that all the accounting operations are met in accordance to the statutory requirements including Withholding Payments, Income Tax, Goods, Services Tax, Payrolls and others
Monitor and manage AR collection process to optimize the cash flow working together with business unit.
About you:
Min Degree in Accounting/Finance. Post qualifications from professional bodies such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA would be advantageous to the role.
Able to work not only independently but in a team as well, prioritize and meticulous in discharging responsibilities
Good Microsoft office skills particularly strong capability in Microsoft Excel
Min 4 years of relevant experience in Chief Accountant role of a trading company with deep understandings of local GAAP and Taxes.
Experience in IT Servicing industry is an added advantage.
Excellent knowledge in MS Office and familiar with ERP (e.g. Netsuite, SAP)
Chief Accountant certificate.
Very good English (writing, listening, and speaking).
