This position is a key role responsible for driving growth and expansion the Chronic Disease Management (CDM). This person will be conceptualizing, implementing strategies and drive synergy to develop the CDM business within OPT in Vietnam; including but not limited to

To be fully responsible for the preparation of bids for major tenders/projects
To be involved in planning and execution of marketing and promotional activities such as exhibitions, workshops, seminars etc
Manage forecast sale out process
Expert knowledge of product&039;s features, benefits, product application, diagnostics and treatment procedure through training programs
Ensure operational goals and financial targets are being met regularly
Product training for sales team
Providing direction in areas of marketing and training development
Develop, maintain and deliver applications- focused training on the equipment and accessories
Reporting on market intelligence data with market size, market share of CDM equipment
Knowledge and understanding of competitive products
Product and solution presentation for customers
Formulating business development strategies
Focus on clinical uses, education and improving customer workflows
Defining Customer Segmentation, market mapping and product alignment to market segments
Implement sales & marketing activities
Market understanding and market access planning
Customer engagement, building and maintaining KOLs
Apply product and clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues where needed

Primary duties and responsibilities
Including but not limited to:
Ø Business Development and Budget Management:
· Track and analyze sales metrics, including revenue, sales conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and market share.
· Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
· Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
· Manage the sales budget for the North region, including resource allocation, expenses, and promotional activities.
· Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand market reach.
· Collaborate with senior management to set ambitious sales targets and objectives for CDM products.
· Regularly review sales performance against targets, identify gaps, and develop corrective action plans.
· Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment to maximize team productivity and engagement.
· Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
· Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for CDM in alignment with overall OPT objectives.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, hospitals, clinics, medical professionals, and other stakeholders.
Ø Product Management & Marketing activities
· Conduct SWOT analysis for the territory responsible
· Submit territory reports and all required information requested by management by due date
· Planning and execution of marketing and promotional activities such as exhibitions, workshops, seminars etc.
· Manage key account, build KOL’s in the region
· Support market analysis and gathering of market data
· Reporting on market intelligence
· Product positioning, competitive pricing analysis.
· Implementing marketing strategies for CDM
· Planning and implementation of events and road shows/ CME’s
· Manage professional networks at all levels of the global, regional, affiliate organizations

Application and product training:
· Apply product and clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues where needed
· Advise company on customer&039;s education resource needs
· Conducting clinical application training for customers
· Support for training activities for customers in Zeiss training center and/or at customer site
· Effective support customers with product demonstration
· Represent and champion clinical applications and support needs for customers
· Conduct quality demonstrations on- site education and consulting
· Work closely with Sales, Service, Marketing, etc. and with end users in both pre and post- sale situations
· Co- ordinate and deliver customer training sessions
· Develop, maintain and deliver applications- focused training on the equipment and accessories
· Focus on clinical uses, education and improving customer workflows
Ø Customer Relationships
· Develop and implement an effective territory sales and coverage plan to achieve penetration, conversion, and upgrade objective
· Conduct In- depth understanding of customer needs to identify sales opportunities
· Support sales team with Bundling tools and complex sales
· Regular visits of existing and prospective customers independently and with distributors to build strong relationships
· Develop and implement strategies and plans to increase customer satisfaction, confidence and loyalty
· Creatively plan for expansion of challenging territories and conversion of difficult accounts
· Constantly updating the customer database of assigned territory
· To be fully responsible for the preparation of bids for major tenders / projects in your territory

Teamwork:
· Active participation in team related activities and meetings
· Build and maintain constructive and co- operative relationships with sales team and other cross functional teams
· As required, coach and mentor less experienced member
· Sharing relevant customer/product/industry information with colleagues and identify sales opportunities which contribute to the success of others
· Support for colleagues to achieve company&039;s goals
Any other duties & responsibilities as assigned by the management
Education / Professional Certification
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Biomedical, Marketing, or related fields
Experience
· 10 years of experience in Sales Management / Business Development in the medical device industry, preferably with ophthalmic products
· Strong analytical skills are necessary to evaluate market trends, customer feedback, and other data to make informed decisions about product development and marketing
· 5 years of experience in a leadership role
· Experienced in development of marketing plans
Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics
· Good command of spoken and written English
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong customer focus and excellent presentation skills
· Sense of accountability and strong work ethic
· Good team player and excellent leadership skills
