Job description:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for market expansion, building relationships with potential clients in the gaming, Toys industry, and connect with international partners and drive revenue growth.
Manage the sales pipeline: Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals to maintaining long- term client relationships.
Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with the recruitment team and project managers to ensure staffing solutions align with client needs.
Monitor & optimize performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate sales strategies, and recommend improvements.
Develop business growth strategies: Identify market opportunities, create and execute client acquisition plans in the gaming industry (game studios, toys companies, publishers, outsourcing firms).
Industry engagement & brand development: Represent the company at international gaming conferences, participate in industry forums, and publish insights on offshore staffing.
Lead generation & client acquisition: Utilize personal networks, LinkedIn, gaming industry events (GDC, PGW, Gamescom,…), and networking to engage decision- makers (CEOs, CTOs, HR Managers…).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Fluent in English, with additional language skills (e.g., French, Spanish) as a plus.
Vietnamese expat living abroad with strong networking advantages and local market knowledge.
Established network with game studios, toys companies, publishers, or outsourcing companies in the gaming industry.
5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management, preferably in gaming, outsourcing, Toys or offshore staffing.
Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and lead generation platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, etc.).
Strong sales & negotiation skills, with experience working with international clients (US, Europe, Canada,…).
Deep understanding of game development processes (game development cycle, roles in a game team, outsourcing vs. in- house production, etc.).
