OVERVIEW OF POSITION
The Business Analyst in the IT Department supports the technical and functional aspects of IT systems, ensuring their performance aligns with business needs. The role bridges business and IT, facilitating effective communication and implementing technology solutions to enhance operations.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Manage or contribute to projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery meets timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with business units to collect and document technical and business process requirements.
Maintain operational procedures and scenario documentation for system functions.
Coordinate with team members and vendors for seamless system operations.
Develop strategies to enhance processes and ensure operational efficiency.
Provide application support and troubleshoot issues to ensure system reliability.
Document workflows and identify gaps in processes and systems.
Analyze business operations to identify inefficiencies, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Offer guidance to team members to foster confidence in system usage.
Conduct system testing to ensure products meet quality and user expectations.
