Communication & Requirement Handling
• Participate in client meetings, discussions, and onsite/online workshops in Japanese.
• Maintain smooth, timely, and precise communication between Japan stakeholders and the engineering team. Project Coordination
• Collaborate with project managers to plan, monitor, and track project progress.
• Ensure deliverables meet client expectations in terms of functionality, quality, and timeline.
• Communicate risks, issues, and changes to both clients and internal teams in a structured and proactive manner.
• Work directly with Japanese clients to understand business needs, clarify requirements, and translate them into clear technical specifications for the development team.
Technical Support
• Provide explanations, guidance, and context to engineers, helping them understand Japanese business flows and expectations.
• Support UAT phases by coordinating feedback, clarifying issues, and ensuring timely fixes.
• Review requirements, design documents, and test specifications to ensure alignment and feasibility.
Quality Assurance
• Ensure that all requirements are fully captured and translated without gaps.
• Validate software outputs before delivery to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Work closely with QA teams to confirm test coverage and clarify test scenarios.

• Strong proficiency in Japanese (N2 or higher; N1 preferred).

• Experience in a BrSE, system analyst, or bilingual technical role.

• Solid understanding of software development processes (web/mobile systems).

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development.

• Ability to travel or work onsite in Japan when needed.

• Ability to read/write technical documents in Japanese.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem- solving skills.

• Hands- on coding or system design experience (any programming language). Frontend tech is a plus

• Experience working with Japanese companies or in Japanese working environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience with large- scale ReactJS/React Native applications

• Product ownership mindset, continuous improvement, and industry awareness

• Experience with NodeJS/Typescript, Redux, Redux- Saga, and Expo

• Strong spoken and written English for international collaboration

• Experience working with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD (e.g., GitlabCI), automated deployments, environment configuration, and cloud infrastructure

• Hands- on experience with monorepo management

■Working time: Mon- Fri: 8:00- 17:00, hybrid working (3 days office & 2 days WFH); Half- day Fridays
