BOM CONTROLLER SPECIALIST

* GENERAL JOB FUNCTION:- Collecting, validating, and analyzing production data to ensure accuracy of BOM, material norms and operational cost.- Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvement actions to enhance productivity and cost competitiveness.- Act as the bridge between production and finance teams to ensure real data reflects in cost reporting and strategic decisions.* RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & AUTHORITIES: * Main responsibility:- Collect and verify actual data from production areas (output, cycle time, manpower, material usage, waste, downtime, etc.).- Ensure all production inputs are recorded accurately and aligned with standard BOM and routing data.- Identify abnormal data trends or discrepancies and report.- Analyze variance between standard and actual data (time, yield, and material consumption, manpower).- Support cost breakdown and variance analysis by process or product family.- Prepare weekly/monthly performance dashboards for production and cost tracking.- Work closely with Production, TD, and PPD to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process optimization.- Participate in improvement projects (Lean/Kaizen) to reduce waste, cycle time, and operational cost- Follow up and verify improvement results after implementation- Summarize analysis and improvement findings for review.- Propose data- driven recommendations to support cost reduction and efficiency improvement.- Assist in preparing cost and efficiency reports for management..* WORKING RELATIONSHIP:- Internal: All relevant departments- External: CM (Contract Manufacturers) – when collecting or validating production data.- Reporting:+ Superior: Senior BOM controller+ Subordinate: None

* EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:* Must requirement:- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Production Management.- 2–4 years of experience in furniture or multi- material manufacturing (metal, wood, plastic, or composite).- Solid knowledge of product engineering, supply chain management (SCM), quality assurance, continuous improvement, and bill of materials (BOM).- Understanding BOM structure, routing, and costing principles.- Knowledge of Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, RCA, line balancing).* Important requirement:- Strong analytical and problem- solving ability.- Proactive, hands- on, and detail- oriented in a manufacturing environment.- Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks under high pressure.- Good teamwork and cross- functional coordination skills.- High sense of responsibility, accuracy, and integrity
