Introduction
Responsibilities
As part of our Engineering team, you will:
• Build and optimize the order management system, supporting real- time transactions, payment handling, and fulfillment orchestration
• Design, document, and implement RESTful, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs for internal and external consumption
• Develop and maintain backend services using Golang to power core e- commerce functionalities
• Participate in incident resolution, performance profiling, and system load testing
• Build scalable, fault- tolerant microservices integrated with Kafka for asynchronous processing
• Implement system monitoring and alerting using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and centralized logging
• Contribute to the design and implementation of a promotion engine, enabling dynamic discount rules, coupons, and campaign management
• Work in collaboration with frontend developers and product managers to ensure seamless feature delivery
• Tune queries and manage data access patterns across SQL and NoSQL databases for both consistency and speed
• Optimize system performance, latency, and throughput to support thousands of concurrent users and high traffic during peak times (e.g., promotions, flash sales)
• Write clear and concise technical documentation (Engineering Docs, API Specs) and User Guides for internal tools and features
Requirements
• Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) with real- world optimization experience
• Hands- on experience with performance profiling, load testing, and bottleneck resolution
• 1+ years of experience in backend development, preferably using Golang
• Understanding of modern CI/CD tools and pipelines
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization using Docker, and deployment to GCP or other cloud platforms
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in production environments
• Deep understanding of API design, service communication patterns (REST, gRPC), and secure data flows
• Proven experience in building and scaling high- performance, high- availability systems
• Solid experience with Kafka or equivalent message brokers in distributed systems
• Excellent communication and documentation habits
Preferred (not required): Students from HCMUT, HCMUS, HCMUIT, or other universities under VNU- HCM
Nice to Have
• Experience designing or integrating promotion engines and purchasing platforms
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Google Cloud Platform services
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production
• Contributions to open- source Golang projects or personal side projects demonstrating system design and performance focus
• Fullstack experience using modern JS frameworks like React or Next.js
