Automation Tester Python Developer

This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of software testing principles and the ability to write robust test automation scripts using Python.
We are looking for a detail- oriented and skilled Automation Tester with strong Python development experience to join our QA team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure software quality.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
Investigate test failures, report bugs, and track issues through resolution.
Create and enhance test frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
Maintain test documentation and report test results with clarity.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation.
Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify issues.
Continuously improve test coverage and test efficiency.
Requirements:
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
2–5+ years of experience in automation testing with Python.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or requests library.
Hands- on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Appium for UI testing.
Experience working with version control systems (Git).
Good understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and SDLC.
Experience with test automation frameworks such as PyTest, unittest, or Robot Framework.
Excellent debugging, problem- solving, and analytical skills.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Nice to Have:
Experience with test result visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Allure Reports).
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., Locust, JMeter).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience writing test cases based on BDD (e.g., Behave or Cucumber).
