Automation System Engineer (Shuttle Bus from TPHCM to Bien Hoa)

We’re looking for Electrical Automation System Engineer resposible to lead the improvement and transformation of manual processes into automation solutions by conceptualizing and designing systems that create products replacing or reducing human physical effort. Coordinates work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
An US publicly traded company in Nasdaq stock market with approx. $6B market cap that serves a variety of HVAC end markets through 5 operating companies. The company has recently completed a large acquisition of an US privately owned company which manufactures HVAC Grills, Registers and Diffusers (GRD) in Vietnam. The acquired company is a market leader of GRD segment in US market. The factory in Vietnam is located at Nhon Trach Industrial Park Zone 1 with 60,000sqm and 1,500 employees.

Control spare parts (Define spare part list, Control safety stock, consumption and spare parts cost).
Build material and provide training to technicians (Write trouble shooting work instruction and provide training for technicians).
Technical expert in new machine installation project.
Design and develop software applications based on specifications or new concepts.
Improve process to reach high technical availability of machine as demands (Be a leader or member of improvement projects to improve safety condition, reduce downtime, increase technical availability).
Troubleshooting and support technicians on troubleshooting (Receive escalation from PM/CM technicians then support them, collecting data, root cause analysis, define preventive actions).
Understand client requirements for HMI/communication interface, networking and create specifications based on these requirements.
Build preventive and predictive maintenance programs including yearly overhaul (Write preventive maintenance instructions, check sheet, schedule).

Tasks management, team work.
Do trouble shooting systematically and work independently (Trouble shooting skill: root cause analysis, preventive actions).
Understand fundamental of maintenance, understand how to set up maintenance system as engineer role.
Configuring and designing HMI systems (e.g. WinCC, OPC,…)
Programming Logic Controllers (PLC) (e.g. Siemens, Omron, Misubishi,....)
Desired- experience with Robot programming (e.g. ABB, Fanuc) • Desired – experience with Digital transformation, Manufacturing excellent.
Able to make technical report in English.
Experience in Blanking press, welding process, power coating and painting machine is advantage.
Bachelor in Electrical, Automation engineering & from 4 years of experience in the automation industry.
Extensive knowledge of Electrical engineering: principle of machinery, material, design and application (can read machinery drawing, analise structure, understand component and functioning).
Familiar with Industry Standards UL and CE & various Motion Controllers/Actuators.
