Audio DSP Embedded Engineer

Design and implementation of efficient, high- quality, trouble- free Audio DSP SW components for customer projects.
Research new technology, new method to enhance performance of embedded system.
Analyze customer requirement, design and develop features that can be used in many different Audio platforms. For example: Swift test, diagnosis, ECNR, …
As Audio Embedded SW developer, the candidate will be involved in Audio Platforms Development on Automotive system.
Maintenance of a generic, easily customizable, cross- DSP audio signal processing code base.
Develop and execute unit and functional tests for components.

Knowledge of current DSP architectures and of the associated SW build tool- chains.
A certain passion for audio and music.
Competent English communication skills is a plus.
Knowledge of the technology of audio hardware components (e.g.: microphones, digital transmission systems, amplifiers, loudspeakers).
Well- founded experience in DSP- specific source code optimization, and integration into vendor- specific audio processing frameworks.
Experience with in- vehicle infotainment systems or other automotive software development is highly desirable.
Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Knowledge of technical acoustics (transducers, sound- wave propagation).
Knowledge of methods and tools for audio measurements.
Profound experience in design and implementation of cycle- and memory- efficient DSP SW in C/C++.
Knowledge of psychoacoustics and of the deducible implicit requirements for audio processing systems.
Knowledge of and experience in time- and frequency response equalization of car interior acoustics.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
