Daily Operations:
Supervise, coordinate, and manage housekeeping associates to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back- of- house spaces are cleaned and maintained according to hotel and brand standards.
Ensure smooth handover between shifts and maintain clear communication with the Executive Housekeeper regarding operational issues.
Assist in planning and scheduling associates’ daily tasks, including room assignments, special cleaning requests, and event preparation.
Monitor associate attendance, performance, and productivity, and provide guidance to optimize efficiency and service quality.
Training & Development:
Assist in onboarding new housekeeping associates and provide continuous training to ensure associates understand and comply with resort policies, hygiene standards, and guest service expectations.
Support professional development initiatives, including coaching associates to improve efficiency, teamwork, and guest interaction skills.
Maintain training records and ensure all associates are up to date with mandatory compliance requirements, including health, safety, and emergency procedures.
Quality Control & Inspections:
Report maintenance, repair, or replenishment needs to the relevant departments in a timely manner.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back- of- house facilities to maintain high standards of cleanliness and order.
Ensure that all housekeeping operations comply with brand standards, safety regulations, and resort policies.
Identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to associates and management.
Inventory & Supplies Management:
Assist in managing housekeeping inventory, including linen, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
Monitor usage and stock levels, and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supplies without wastage.
Implement proper storage and handling procedures to maximize efficiency and minimize loss or damage.
Guest Relations:
Maintain a proactive approach to anticipate guest needs and ensure that service levels exceed expectations.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, or complaints related to housekeeping services.
Work closely with the Front Office, F&B, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
Support the Executive Housekeeper in implementing resort policies, audits, and inspections.
Ensure all housekeeping associates follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Conduct safety briefings and monitor adherence to emergency procedures.
