AI Edge Engineer

Optimize performance, memory, and power consumption of software/firmware on embedded platforms, especially for ISP and AI tasks.
Integrate and optimize Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) models to accelerate image processing tasks and run efficiently on AI Accelerators or CPU/GPU/NPU resources on SoCs.
Develop drivers, HAL/BSP, and middleware to support hardware operation, AI integration, and ISP pipelines.
Research, design, and develop software/firmware for embedded systems, microcontrollers (MCU), and microprocessors (MPU/SoC).
Stay updated on new technologies and trends in Edge AI, ISP, and apply them to product development.
Write high- quality, maintainable, and scalable code, adhering to programming standards and product development processes.
Collaborate closely with hardware, AI/ML, and testing teams to ensure smooth product operation.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure system reliability.
Design and develop Image Signal Processing (ISP) algorithms to improve image quality, compression, and analysis (e.g., noise reduction, demosaic, white balance, defect correction) on edge devices.

Bachelor&039;s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Image Processing, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in embedded software or firmware development.
Proficient in C/C++ programming in embedded environments.
Solid experience in Edge AI/TinyML:
Experience in developing and optimizing image processing algorithms.
In- depth knowledge of Image Signal Processing (ISP):Understanding of ISP pipeline stages (noise reduction, demosaic, HDR, color correction, tone mapping, sharpening).
Experience working with chip- specific AI libraries (e.g., CMSIS- NN, X- CUBE- AI, Vitis AI) or SoC AI accelerators.
Ability to read schematics, datasheets, and use hardware debugging tools (JTAG/SWD debugger, Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope).
Experience working with image data (RAW, YUV, RGB).
Experience working with microcontroller (MCU) architectures such as ARM Cortex- M, RISC- V, or microprocessor (MPU/SoC) architectures such as ARM Cortex- A.
Ability to optimize AI models (quantization, pruning, graph optimization) for low- resource devices.
Strong logical thinking, analytical, problem- solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as effectively in a team.
Strong knowledge of embedded communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet) and Real- Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, NuttX, or Embedded Linux.
Understanding of ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile, ONNX Runtime.
[Good/Excellent] English proficiency for reading technical documentation and communication.
PLUS POINTS:
Personal projects or products related to Edge AI, ISP, or computer vision.
Experience with VHDL/Verilog or basic understanding of SoC hardware design.
Experience with image processing libraries (OpenCV).
Understanding of security in embedded devices.
Experience with CI/CD tools for embedded software.
