ADAS Embedded Application Engineer

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, propose solutions to meet customer requirements, and contribute to team competency development through technical sharing.
Lead the development of advanced ADAS reference applications such as Surround View, Vision Computing, Image Quality Enhancement (ISP), and hardware- accelerated use cases using the customer’s SoC and SDK.
Collaborate closely with hardware and software product development teams to validate SoC performance and optimize benchmark results, reference applications, and power efficiency.
Develop ADAS reference applications for RFS, VDK Co- simulation, and X5H platforms, including design documentation, source code, test specifications, test cases, and validation reports.
Participate in the Reference Application Scrum Team to design, implement, test, and deliver assigned features.
Act as an application engineer to support customers, accelerate their development, and provide technical documentation and application notes.
Extend system capabilities to support hardware acceleration, vision computing, and ADAS use cases.
Drive the creation and improvement of reference applications, user guides, and platform maturity activities for the ADAS SoC platform.

Requirements:

Experience in multi- core DSP programming for ADAS systems.
Deep understanding of Embedded / Real- time OS (Linux, QNX, etc.), OS abstraction layers (OSAL), and task/process allocation strategies across heterogeneous compute resources (CPU, GPU, ISP, DSP, etc.).
Experience working with hardware accelerators (GPU, ISP, DSP, etc.).
Familiar with automotive safety standards such as MISRA, ASIL, and best coding practices.
Strong knowledge of ARM- based architectures, including peripheral interfaces.
5+ years of experience in ADAS Embedded Application Development.
Hands- on experience developing embedded ADAS applications using platform SDKs.
Solid background in image signal processing, image rendering, and vision computing.
Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.

Nice to Have:

Understanding of ADAS use cases, system features, and AI- based perception models (pre- trained AI models for object detection/classification).
Experience in IPC, multi- threading, and synchronization programming.
Prior exposure to SoC performance benchmarking and hardware- software co- design for ADAS solutions.
Knowledge of camera, video, and display drivers and related controllers.
Familiarity with OpenCV, OpenCL, and computer vision frameworks.
