Accounting & Financial Reporting
Support the AM and related teams by providing information for the timely resolution of issues.
Follow, maintain, and develop the VAS and IFRS chart of accounts (COA), as well as accounting policies, to align with other group entities and ensure more accurate and efficient reporting.
In charge of preparing annual default reporting formats for the new fiscal year.
Ensure the timely reconciliation of aging items on the balance sheet (BS) and report any unreconciled items over 30 days.
Be in charge of OVH reporting monthly.
Prepare and control reconciliations, ensuring the timely and correct reconciliation of all general ledger (GL) accounts, banks, loans, FA, and other GL accounts. Coordinate and review reconciliation results to ensure consistency across general ledger (GL) accounts (AR, AP).
Follow up and cross- check all data and reports from individual accountants. Centralize them in the 01 folder, where the AM will review them before submitting them to the auditors.
Monitor and support GL and Tax accountants to ensure postings comply with VAS/IFRS standards and are backed by proper documentation; support AP and AR to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Implement and maintain internal controls to detect and promptly correct accounting errors; ensure all revenues and expenses are recorded accurately and properly.
Tax Review and Preparation
Monitor tax risks and regulation changes, manage VAT refund processes, and propose improvements to enhance compliance and efficiency.
Perform tax accounting, including CIT and deferred tax accruals, tax adjustments, and posting audit- related entries.
Prepare tax working papers and collaborate with auditors/tax authorities to provide explanations and supporting documents.
Review VAT input–output reconciliation and invoice legality; ensure tax documents comply with regulations and are audit- ready.
Manage tax compliance including VAT, WHT/FCWT, License Tax, and CIT; ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual tax submissions.
Assist the Treasurer with bank conditions and contracts
Assist the Treasurer in reviewing cash flow forecasts.
Help to review, propose and implement ways to optimize our interest costs.
Prepare reports related to loan with VCB / TCB.
Project Improvement
Drive and lead improvement initiatives, including month- end closing process optimization, resolution of audit findings, and reduction of unclaimed VAT and so forth. These initiatives will be agreed upon periodically as part of performance objectives.
Actively participate in the ERP project to improve efficiency, control and visibility in finance.
Perform other duties as required by the AM or CFO.
