Accountant Receivable

Ensure all invoices and supporting evidences are filed and kept in order.
Verify all sales are settled by credits cards, and ensure all payments are received from credit card companies and ensure no unsettled sales vouchers remain.
Process credit card payments and refund to customers
Assists in preparing of monthly and yearly financial reports.
Verify all OC and ENT billings; respond for booking up entries and Internal Expense using monthly report to Credit Manager and Finance Controller.
Liaison with reservations, sales and front office staff daily on rates etc, to reduce potential invoice errors. Discuss further with them on any disputed accounts, work on thereason and sort it out.
Prepare oversea travel agent commissions for payment on a timely basis.
Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records for tracking historical data purpose
Protects organization&039;s value by keeping information confidential.
Confirm that the accounts receivable balance in the General Ledger agrees to the Sub- Ledger.
Perform other duties assigned by the superior.
Verify the booking as recorded correctly in the Accounts Receivable Sub- Ledger sorted by customer.
Ensuring compliance with existing internal and external accounting policies and procedures pertaining to one or more operational areas.

Accounting or accounts receivable knowledge.
Must present a well- groomed appearance.
Strong PMS(Opera) for Hotel
Intermediate English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing)
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word.
Some accounting knowledge, understanding of Back and Front Office, use of Electronic Credit Card Machines, Restaurant and Bar knowledge with balancing of figures
Prior hotel experience preferred.
College / Secondary education or equivalent required.
