Account Manager - Steel Industry

Our client is a multinational company providing high- performance solutions and services to heavy industries, including steelmaking. They are looking for an experienced Sales & Technical Manager to drive growth, manage key accounts, and strengthen their market presence in Vietnam. This role involves a combination of sales, technical support, and strategic account management.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Marketing• Manage and expand sales with existing customers, ensuring stable business relationships and sustained market share.• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities with potential customers.• Analyze customers’ production processes, annual plans, market trends, and purchasing strategies.• Conduct regular business and strategy meetings with customers’ senior management to align needs with the company’s product and service offerings.• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for direct sales projects.• Take the lead in coordinating and supporting greenfield projects.Contract & Payment Management• Ensure timely contract renewals and submission of offers.• Provide accurate data and analysis to support proposal preparation and secure new orders.• Monitor and follow up on collections in line with agreed payment terms.• Coordinate quarterly account reconciliation and closure activities.After- Sales Support• Monitor product performance at customer sites and work with internal teams to implement corrective actions when needed.• Track and evaluate competitors’ activities related to sales, applications, pricing, and delivery.• Prepare monthly reports covering sales results, forecasts, collections, technical updates, and market intelligence.
