Academic Manager - Trưởng Phòng Học Thuật - Ho Chi Minh City

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Coordinate with the Operations Department in regard to the Academic Department
• Work closely with the Scheduler for Teachers and TAs scheduling and student
progress
• Quality Control of Teachers and TAs via CCTV/in- class observation
• Communicate with Center Managers about classroom situations including the
• KPI assessment of teachers and TAs
• Mediate any classroom situations and find solutions for issues in said classes
pening/merging/closing of classes in order to maximize ACS
• Communicate with Customer Service Team about parent request and complaints
related to the academic department
Build and Maintain a Strong Training and Coaching Program
• Create and provide workshops for all existing teachers and teaching assistants for
• Provide initial training for all newcoming teachers and teaching assistants
their academic growth
• Update training programs as the curriculum changes due to academic trends
Working with Marketing side
• Communicate with the Sales and Marketing team to arrange and plan events that
promote FLA
• Help to arrange schedules for events, classes, demos, and placement tests
Working with the Curriculum Department
• Communicating with Curriculum Department for any changes in program content
• Quality Assurance of materials before release for teacher’s usage
Teaching
▪ Placement Tests
• Teach up to 12 hours/week for the following situations
▪ Make- Up Classes
▪ Demos
▪ Covering Teachers
Working with the Board of Manager (BOM)
• Communicate with BOM team for changes and updates to be made in the
academic department
• At work, under the direction of BOM and direct manager
• Other tasks may be assigned by BOM when required

WORKING REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor degree
• Experience in teaching Robotic, STEM subjects is an advantage
• Committed and dedicated team player
• Good knowledge of Education in Vietnam and current trends in Education
• Friendly, active, positive attitude
• Experience in Academic Manager, Head of Teacher, Recruitment, Leadership
• Works well with technology
