121970 - M&A Tax cum Financial Consultant - Consulting

- Work Location: District 01, Ho Chi Minh City

The following Scope of Work is for the clients as below
・Tax Audit- related work
・Financial modeling and valuation
・Tax structuring research for mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring of operations, including analysis of tax loss carryforwards and unrealized profits
・Preparation and review of Tax Due Diligence and Financial Due Diligence
・Other tax and financial services requested by clients.
・Tax- related HR work (including social security calculations and procedures, payroll- related calculations, etc.)
・Researches in tax and financial matters when entering the Vietnamese market
・Monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and taxation work (including audit support)
・Transfer pricing taxation
In addition, the following tasks for our company are also performed as ancillary responsibilities
・Communication with Auditor
・Preparation of financial statements
・Annual and monthly tax calculations and tax returns

・Education: Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting or Finance, or a related field from a reputable university
・Language: English Business Level
・Experience:
* With certificate "Chứng chỉ hành nghề dịch vụ làm thủ tục về thuế"
- Having experience in tax correspondence and tax audits
- Having experience working at a tax or financial advisory firm or M&A advisory firm for at least 5 years (if you only have experience as an in- house tax or accounting council, you do not qualify for the position).
- Having experience in advisory services of TDD (Tax Due Diligence) and FDD (Financial Due Diligence)
*If you have no certificate
- At least 3 years of work in a Big 4 firm
- Having experience working at a tax or financial advisory firm or an M&A advisory firm for at least 5 years
(If you only have experience as an in- house tax or accounting council, you do not qualify for the position.)
- Having experience in advisory services of TDD (Tax Due Diligence) and FDD (Financial Due Diligence)
- Having experience in tax correspondence and tax audits

・Skills:
- Advantageous to possess experience with accounting systems, i.e., Xero, SAP, etc.
- Solid knowledge of tax regulation, payroll laws, and social insurance requirements.
・Soft Skills:
- Highly proficient in MS Office, primarily MS Excel
- Solid knowledge of tax systems, i.e., E- Invoice, etc.

・Advantageous to possess experience with accounting systems, i.e., Xero, SAP, etc.
・Advantageous to possess knowledge of transfer pricing and/or accounting, especially VAS
・Advantageous to possess experience in a managerial position and/or in a multinational company/big 4 firms
・Highly advantageous to have experience in advisory services, including but not limited to SPA review on tax- related items
・Highly advantageous to possess a professional tax certification
