Responsibility
- Work with the assigned Marketing division on pre- underwriting and quoting according to risk assessment, underwriting within authority level delegated by UWD, and treaty terms and conditions.
- Assist the Head of Division in the operation of underwriting activities within the authority level delegated by the Underwriting Division (UWD) for local businesses of assigned Division.
- Develop, maintain underwriting statistics and prepare underwriting reports, and the underwriting manual for the local business of the assigned Division.
- Coordinate with RID to monitor and manage risk accumulation control for the local business of the assigned Marketing division in accordance with the underwriting guidelines of the company.
- Assist the Head of Division in acquiring underwriting knowledge and risk assessment expertise from the sister company to adopt in the company for local business.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data prepared by the assigned Marketing division and provide approval for risk selection and acceptance, coverage, and price of the quotation within the delegated authority given.
- Assist the Head of Division in Facultative Reinsurance placement with sister company and co- ordinate with RID for other placement regarding local businesses of assigned Division.
- Support, coach, and guide the Executive on daily work.
- Monitor and control the acceptance of risks of the assigned Division to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and treaty limits.
- Collaborate with related Divisions/ Departments for related issues in the operation

Requirements

<Necessary Skill / Experience >

・Education: Bachelor&039;s Degree
・Language: English- Business Level
・Experience:
- Have experience with people management
- At least 3 years of working experience in Underwriting or Reinsurance.

• Management skills
• In- depth knowledge of insurance, products, insurance contracts, funding, and rating.
• In- depth understanding of the local insurance market.
• Have good knowledge about the type and method of reinsurance.
• Sound underwriting knowledge.
• Good communication skills.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret business information drawn from multiple sources to make critical account decisions regarding quality of risk.

<Preferable Skill / Experience>・Experience in property/ casualty Underwriting/ reinsurance is preferable.
