Curriculum Development Internship Remote (English Department)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail- oriented
Curriculum Development Intern
to support our English Department in designing, reviewing, and enhancing educational materials for online and in- class learning. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education, English literature, writing, linguistics, or instructional design.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and edit existing curricular materials for clarity, accuracy, and engagement.
Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute ideas to improve course content and instructional strategies.
Assist in developing visual aids, lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and digital learning content for English language and literature courses.
REQUIREMENTS
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Education, Linguistics, Creative Writing, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Basic knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies.
Detail- oriented with excellent research and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Previous experience with educational content creation or teaching (preferred but not required).
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Microsoft Office and Canvas.
